They saw and heard all the pain, mess, struggle, confusion, and longing, and they boldly believed when I couldn't, prayed when there was little to say, hoped and wished for our little guy as much as we did, and helped keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Each painting is named for something that reminds me of them. "Remote Island" is named after a dear friend who feels like family. I've known her since right after college and her family's since middle school.
