Chickadees

Acrylic and oil on canvas, 48 x 48 x 1.5"  This chickadee painting has undergone quite a transformation in the past few years. It started out as a giant neon and black abstract hiding one chickadee in it. This sparked the rest of the entire In Flight & Song series, so it has a special place in my heart. It is also the largest work of the series at 4 x 4 feet. It is a statement for a large room, for sparking conversation and losing yourself in contemplation in its complex limbs.
