"Ripple"

Acrylic on canvas, 12 x 12 x .6" This painting was inspired by a trail run nearby, where a reflection created a portal-like welcome to another realm. Under the surface of the water, everything was an almost mirror-like replication of the world like above... only not. Like an engrossing fantasy book, this painting, and its mate, "Lay of the Lights," provide an otherworldly escape into color, movement, and mark-making. They can be purchased separately, or together as a diptych.
