Devotion Ring I (Diamond)
The Devotion Ring I is based on the jewelry in Hans Memling’s two-panel portrait of Tommaso Portinari and his wife, Maria Baroncelli, painted ca. 1470. The couple is portrayed in prayer, donning in the high style of their day, including two austere but remarkable devotional bands. Reimagining Portinari’s pinky ring, Devotion I is a tapered, convex band, with petal cut-out details around a 4-prong setting featuring a recycled diamond. Our Devotion Ring I tapers from 6mm to 4.5mm wide and features a 3mm recycled diamond. Crafted in 100% recycled 14k gold and available in a finish of your choosing (our preference is brushed gold as shown in the images). We are delighted to offer this style in higher karat metals and different precious gemstones. Reach out to us at inquiries@jhannahjewelry.com for pricing.
