Spiny Oyster Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Ring

This sterling silver ring features an inlay cabochon formed with spiny oyster and turquoise which I’ve bezel set. It has a closed back which helps protect the cabochon, and adds substantial silver weight. The setting measures approximately 1” in length and it is a ring size 6. Inlay cabochons like this one are hand formed with natural materials. Although they are referred to as “inlay”, they are actually compression and heat formed. I don’t often use “formed” stones in my pieces, but these ones have such beautiful color combinations, I couldn’t resist.
