Its dense coat of fur makes it ideal for life in the cold, but makes it susceptible to rising temperatures due to climate change. As temperatures rise, so must they, searching for the cold in higher and higher elevations. Eventually the pika won't be able to climb any higher. We have to do what we can to slow the warming of the planet for the pika and all others that call Earth home.
