I am Shari Lyon and I paint with melted beeswax and a torch! I am a mixed media artist with my focus on encaustic (or beeswax based) paintings. Encaustic painting is one of the oldest forms of art dating back to early 400BC. They have a depth and texture that is very unique. You really have to see an encaustic painting to appreciate it.
