Artist: Emily Fox King Title: Offering Medium: Oil and cold wax on canvas Price: $5,200 Dimensions:  48 x 48 inches Artist Statement: Creating a mess and then editing it down to a work of art is a cathartic process for me and how I stay grounded in this world. I started work on this painting right as the terrible Israel-Gaza war broke out. The human carnage and suffering, loss of life, and the harm done to children made me feel really sad and I made this piece while feeling those feelings. It's an offering to those far away from me that I cannot help and a reminder to look for those around me that I can reach and offer aid to.
