Bride’s Chest - JP1040
In the 18th century, bentwood boxes, usually oval in shape, were given as wedding presents or love gifts. The style of Bride's Box illustrated here was popular in Germany during the late 1700 to early 1800's. We once again have exceptional, high quality Shaker Style Bentwood Boxes. These Oval Museum Bride's boxes are beautifully made of solid birch and are lighter in weight than other Bentwood boxes that have been available in the past. The bundle includes the tall oval "museum" box that measures 11 1/4" x 8 1/2" and is about 6" tall.
