Modified "Chippendale" Stroke Style. This is one of my favorite techniques for painting stroke florals. It makes use of several styles of painting which all can be traced to various periods of Zhostova techniques. The Chippendale style was abandoned in Zhostova painting because, when done with oils, it involved too many prolonged drying times between layers.
