HISTORY: Arthur Mercante was born on January 27, 1920. He refereed many fights including Ali-Frazier I, Ali-Patterson II and others. He refereed over 100 world title fights and was the first active modern day referee to enter the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Presented here is a signed note from Mercante.
