This striking small vase caught my eye immediately. The rich butter yellow glass is surrounded by a copper stand with a dark patina - the leaves have wonderful detail. It is possible the vase is hand blown, but I can't separate it from its stand to check the bottom to be sure. It may be from the 1920's or 30's. I imagine it belonging to a great British writer like Virginia Wolf - kept on her writing table with a stem or two plucked from the field of wildness in East Sussex...but I'm sure that is not the case. Still, all in all, a striking addition to add a dollop of color to any room. Glass Vase in Copper Stand7” x 5”
