Mystic Bamboo

This "diptych" is a acrylic on canvas with collaged rock areas. I had a customer Christine request that I do a "bamboo" painting. I always find that I learn a lot from honoring request from people for certain subject matter. It helps me to grow as an artist. My neighbor Diana has a bamboo plant that I have been admiring. It is right outside of my studio. The finished painting has a mystical and relaxing feeling to it. It is one of my favorite and I am very glad to have done it.
