Simple Pleasures is a painting, of a pink Hardy water lily that grows in my pond. The Original oil painting was done photo-real style in oil sized 36”x48”. Water lilies will open and close daily for about 3 days so enjoying this rare occasion is really a simple pleasure. For this flower, in particular, it is not a frequent bloomer so I enjoy these beautiful surprises whenever they occur. Just being present to see them is a gift.
