The year was 1997 and despite the high wind warning, the streets were crowded in New York City for the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In front of thousands of onlookers, Barney's luck ran out. The giant inflatable ballon dinosaur veered off course and struck a lamppost. In less than 60 seconds, Barney was no more. Other casualties this day were suffered by the Cat in the Hat and the Pink Panther. In honour of this epic fail, we created the silky Barney's Bonanza. Safe to be worn in high winds around lampposts.
