COLOMBIA EDERLETH LOZANO MOLINA

Tasting Notes: Crispin Apple, Maple Candy, Coconut, Mint Chocolate A 2024 Golden Bean Medalist, this coffee from Ederleth Lozano Molina is one of the most unique flavor profiles we've ever tasted. Tropical, fruity, chocolaty and minty, it is a decadent, rich treat! Finca Cosita Linda, Ederleth's farm, is located in an extremely steep, remote location in the mountains of Huila. Dedicated to biodiversity, she is an incredibly talented grower, as well as a gracious host.  In 2017, we visited Colombia, where we had the pleasure of helping judge a local micro-lot competition held at the "Coffee for Peace" festival. In a blind tasting, we discovered Ederleth's coffee, which came in second place out of over 260 entries. After falling in-love with the cup, we went to visit Ederleth’s farm. Climbing up the steep mountainside farm, we were greeted with an expansive view, and Ederleth’s warm hospitality.
