Kou Book Rest 03

Unique book rest available now — Solid hardwood, sanded and finished with a home-healthy wood wax. Originally grown and salvaged in Maui, Hawaii, the wood species - Kou - is a Hawaiian "canoe plant" valued for its beautiful grain. We designed these simple hardwood pieces to serve as a unique and sturdy book rest. Prop open a book to save your page over one of its corners! To show off more of the wood on an everyday basis, the piece can function as a sturdy bookend when placed upright. Or, it is beautiful standing on its own (pick your favorite side and angle!)
