Upcountry Bench, Maui Koa Seat + Curved Back

Exhibited during SF Design Week 2024 at Bay Area Made's Show: Product Design Stories A unique heirloom bench created from one of the world's most striking woods and one near and dear to our heart, Maui grown Koa. This live edge slab, used here as the bench seat, comes from one of the first commercially grown koa groves on the island of Maui. It has been minimally altered, paying homage to the way this tree chose to grow.
