Running Red Mushroom

This wonderful, red stem in color, sculpted glass mushroom represents fungus often seen in nature and created by John Gibbons of Eureka, California. It is a bright blue and white cap with a bright red colored stem, the glass base is made with cool blues and silver tones. This art glass specimen is made to sit flat on a table or shelf. John tries to capture the essence of a mushroom in nature while highlighting the properties of glass. The mushroom is created with the color pattern on the top of the fungus creating an illusion of a freshly sprouted specimen. This beauty is about 5 inches in height.
