Small Peacock Vase

This hand blown glass vase was created by layering several colors to create an earthy green, and then blowing the molten bubble into a bronze mold. The mold separates the color, trapping a clear bubble in the center. This creates the illusion of eyespots, similar to the tail feather of a peacock. In each eyespot there is a clear glass lens that magnifies the pattern of this perfectly symmetrical vase. Check out the video! It measures about 3" width x 5" height. This vase is hand signed by John Gibbons on the bottom.
