The Woven Indigo Perch - Stool

I challenged myself to create fine furniture from a humble pallet. Here’s how it all came together: I recently ordered something that was delivered on a pallet. Initially, I almost discarded it, but I noticed that some of the boards were made of oak. After dismantling the pallet and planing the boards, I found that there was enough white oak to create a small project. The first idea that came to mind was to make a stool. The seat is woven with Danish paper cord, which has been dyed using natural indigo. Check out the YouTube video to see how I made this stool! Dimensions: 15.5" W x 13.25" D x 16" H
