The Regulators

My "Science Lab" series features 3-D assemblages created in reclaimed science lab drawers. I collaged vintage maps and children's science books, then painted and arranged them into shapes inspired by video games to create my backgrounds. I arranged a collection of toys and mechanical parts into mechanical flower shapes, and scroll-cut my robot characters from wood to take center stage.  Each piece in the series is one of a kind, signed by me front and back, and wired to hang on a wall or stand on a surface.  "The Regulators" refers to the flying saucer overlords as well as the delta shower valve standing in for a flower bulb.
