Nearly all I-Joist manufacturers conform to these common sizes. I-Joist Web Reinforcers are designed for engineered I-Joists requiring large holes for utilities such as plumbing and HVAC. The flange width refers to the dimension of the top and bottom solid lumber flanges typically 1 1/2", 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" wide, but do often very slightly.
