Miss Linda has a white glaze base with the raw clay + yellow daisies . She's the perfect reminder of spring and blooming flowers. Hand thrown out of a speckled clay, the raw daisies make for a mug that is full of visual and physical texture, trimmed, and handled - Miss Linda has been made with lots of love.   Average measurements: Width: 4" Height: 3.5" Capacity: 14 ounces Each item is made by hand with all of my attention, love and care. Making pottery has many stages that take a lot of time and caution. First, I throw a measured amount of clay on my wheel or build the item by hand. Then it’s left to dry slowly for a few days, preventing warping and cracks.  Once dry,  it’s checked for imperfections and then goes into the kiln for the first firing. It is Bisque fired at 1000 degree Celsius (1900 Fahrenheit) for 8 hours and then it has to slowly cool overnight before I can unload the kiln.  After the bisque firing and some cleaning of the piece, it is ready to glaze.
