As 1935 and later cars and trucks became bigger and heavier it is a good piece of mind to use heavy duty Tie Rod Ends and Weld Bungs when splitting your wishbones to make way for a new hot rod engine / transmission. These Tie Rod Ends are 3/4-16 thread and retain a 7 degree taper. However this 7 degree shaft is thicker than those on 11/16" TRE's and modified or correct frame tabs are recommended.
