Smaller red eft and mushroom original woodcut

Red efts have such amazing coloration. Along with red dragonflies and amanita muscaria mushrooms. This piece celebrates all these cute natural red critters.  But, don't eat the efts or the mushrooms. Both are incredibly toxic. The dragonflies can be eaten if you desire. The red eft is a showy little amphibian that lives in a wide swath of the eastern United States and Canada. It is a terrestrial form of the eastern spotted newt. I see them on walks regularly in the spring and fall in upstate NY.
