"Chelsea" Boro scarf

Chelsea is another Boro creation:  a rich combination of hand dyed margilan silk, silk gauze, silk habotai and metallic silk on each side of this reversible beauty creating a patchwork effect influenced by Japanese "boro" (the art of reworking and repairing textiles in a patchwork to create a new recycled cloth), hand felted together with fine merino wool. Chelsea has a nice weight to it without being bulky and enormous shine. Wear it as a wrap or a scarf. Measurements:  9" x is 77" Care instructions:  Hand wash is COLD water (never hot) with very mild detergent.  Do not agitate while washing, as the wool will continue to shrink (which means it will continue to felt - you do not want that)  – just a short soak and a few dips. Rinse and gently squeeze out the access water. Use a large beach towel to roll it in, if necessary. Gently "block" it back to its original shape using a steam iron while still damp. Dry flat. If ironing is necessary after blocking and drying, use wool setting wit
