"Masai" Collar in Orange

Working with premiere quality industrial felt, this collar is part of a new collection inspired by the colorful neckwear of the Masai people of East Africa. Years ago, I travelled to Kenya and Tanzania and the vivid memories of beautifully beaded collars have resonated with me. I hand-dyed the industrial felt using various resist techniques adding a stud closure for a clean look. The collar is light weight and can be worn with a “little black dress” or dress it down wearing your favorite jeans.
