"Toscana" Boro scarf

Toscana - another welcome for the Fall season with rich earth tone colors of hand dyed silk and hand painted silk showing a whimsical design on the reverse side, this scarf will keep you warm and bring a pop of color to your autumn/winter wardrobe. The "boro" side of Toscana shows a patchwork of various hand dyed habotai silks creating the boro effect (Japanese textile practice of salvaging or repairing used cloth to create a new purpose), keeping the lines clean and simple reflecting calm. On the reverse side, I used a solid piece of hand painted silk with a lively design - true yin and yang! Enjoy Toscana all season long. Unisex. Measurements:  10" x 54" *Care instructions:  Hand wash is COLD water (never hot) with very mild detergent. Do not agitate while washing, as the fine layer of wool will continue to shrink – just a short soak and a few dips.  Rinse and gently squeeze out the access water by rolling in a towel. Gently shape it back to its original shape (blocking).
