Labradorite Polished Freeform
Labradorite is a fascinating stone because of what is known as the schiller (German, for "twinkle") effect: the metallic iridescence that occurs when light reflects between two layers of a mineral at an angle. Also referred to as adularescence or labradorescence, this effect is found also in moonstone, opal, and sapphire. These polished freeforms are shaped by buffing and polishing a natural- shaped chunk of labradorite, revealing layers of brilliant flash underneath. These can be used in various ways for meditating or scrying, and look beautiful on display next to a candle or other crystals. Each will have wonderful inclusions, cracks, and other characteristics that make each unique and special. Read more about how to use crystals on our blog, Esoteric Insights, here, and more about scrying here.
