36 x 12 inches | Acrylic on Canvas This piece is deeply personal. I painted it during a time when I was learning to stop shrinking myself physically, emotionally, creatively. The orange hibiscus, bold and bright, became a mirror for that growth. Her body expands beyond the canvas, refusing to be contained. The dashes that swirl around her are her rhythm, her energy, her joy. She’s not holding back she’s dancing, fully in the moment. "Taking Up Space" is a celebration of that transformation: stepping into your power, your presence, and your right to be seen and felt.
