We Are One

12 x 12 x 1.5 inches, finished edges, wired and ready to hang I offer to you, as the song goes, "....a partridge in a pear tree."  This piece has several words and fun papers collaged in it that have a lot of meaning to me. It's a celebration of each other. "We Are One" is my core belief about all life. The word "joy" is what my art is all about.  Hiding the date in this piece reminds me of Christmas mornings. My son would wake up to a piece of paper on his bed with clue #1 and spend the next hour or longer searching for his present. We followed him inside and out, up to the attic and down to the basement, as he found each clue until finally, the package. SO MUCH FUN.
