Facing the Apparition

Oil on panel 27” x 36” I’ve heard the phrase lately that reality is your mirror. If that’s in fact true, then I was quite enamored with a previous moment of reality. This is more of an emotional depiction of a chance siting of my first albino deer while exploring Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.  She was gliding as if floating on a forest dance floor, surrounded by the most delicate white flowers. Painting this gentle and ghostly beauty was a must since just this last November, I spotted with the same magical wonder, a male albino buck. Only this time, he was eating a sizable portion of corn from my very own backyard.
