Praying Mantis Micro Mosaic Pendant

Cute Praying Mantis in micro mosaic. I create these mosaics by first making the polymer clay chips by hand, rolling and cutting.  I then hand set them into the sterling silver bezels that I made. It takes quite awhile adding and subtracting the chips until I am happy with the image. This one has around 500 chips. The setting is solid sterling silver with a leaf roller printed on the back side to create a home for our stick bug friend. The pendant hangs from a 18" sterling silver chain with a lobster clasp. This piece is larger than my other pendants at about 1-1/2" long (37mm) by 1-1/8" wide (28mm).   One of a kind.
