I've been thinking a lot lately of place. What that means. Where I come from. Where I plant my feet. Where my head dreams of exploring in far off distant lands. As a small child, during the summer months my dad and I would sleep under the stars. So cozy in our sleeping bags, with cold noses and heavy eyes. He would tell me how to find the north star, just in case I ever got lost and the names of many constellations. I can still see in my mind, the shimmery dancing northern lights.
