Splendidly envisioned and meticulously painted with the finest brush strokes, this Byzantine inspired Virgin Mary necklace has been made by intaglio cutting - a procedure utilizing reverse cutting from the underside of the stone. The Virgin Mary was central to Byzantine Art and very influential to Sevan, and this luminous image depicts the spirit of the Bible, which is divine and sacred. The pendant is surrounded by sparkling diamonds, suspended from a double chain crafted in oxidized sliver and 24 karat gold, with a secure closure.
