Our Nicaragua is from the FTO Segovia Region -  The Cup: Graham, molasses, and cooked citrus fruit flavors with tart acidity and mellow candy-like sweetness.  Variety - Bourbon, Catimor, Caturra, Typica  Process - Washed                            Roasted - Medium  Nueva Segovia is a higher-altitude region of Nicaragua.  PRODECOOP’s SHG EP’s are extremely versatile as certified blend components and sweet enough to stand up well as a single origin offering. PRODECOOP has developed a long line of programs that support its members in a multitude of different ways and funded by using their Fair Trade premium. The initiatives include supporting educational opportunities for families, providing loans to women in and affiliated with the organization, providing cervical-cancer screenings and health-care services, and creating systems to increase food security.
