Our 4-string Irish dulcimer is named for its unique Celtic Cross sound hole rosette derived from a photo taken by our daughter Ayden in an 11th Century monastery in Ennis, Ireland. This 4-string dulcimer features a bookmatched walnut body and mahogany top with a decorative back inlay. The rosette is relief carved by hand, interweaving continuous strands through a solid black walnut veneer. It has gold-plated Grover "Sta-Tite" metal tuners with brass gears and 14:1 gear ratio.
