Summer Garden At Home No. 12 Print

This giclee print is from a photograph I took in my garden late Summer. Fading Echinacea blooms in a late summer sky. The work is rooted in the ways we can exist within the landscape and the power of even the smallest garden. I don't like to offer things I haven't taken the time to live with myself...Time to really take them in and this small body of work is no different. My family and I have been living with these prints for the last month or so, some longer. They've hung all over our house but our favorite place for them has been in our bedrooms. Laying down at night and taking them in as we fall asleep has brought a lot of magic to bedtime. These prints have become something my kids build stories around. An invitation to imagine living among butterflies and bumblebees. Befriending and welcoming in visitors for tea and cakes into our little glowing houses. Riding on seeds that've burst free from their pods and floating on the breeze... They've become a jumping off point to stories fi
