About The Artist: Lajos Csordák (also known as Ľudovít Čordák) was a Slovak-Hungarian painter known for his Impressionist-inspired landscapes. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Julius Mařák. He worked primarily with pastels, which allowed him to express a delicate and nuanced portrayal of light and color.
