I'm sure you thought it would be as easy as just lighting your candle up. well... it's a bit more detailed than that! The first burn of a candle is the most important. When using the candle for the first time, leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours until all the wax has become liquid on the surface. If you do not do this, your candle will not burn evenly going forward.
