Ephraim Faience 2021 Hand Made Pottery Blue Green Rook’s Tower Ceramic Vase Evoking the mystery of medieval folklore, this 2021 Rook’s Tower vase by Ephraim Faience captures a sculptural narrative in clay. The hand-thrown cylindrical form mimics a stone castle turret, complete with parapets and textured blockwork. Vining tendrils climb the tower’s surface, drawing the eye to a sculpted black rook peering watchfully from the top. Rendered in mottled blue-green glaze with naturalistic detailing, this piece combines architectural elements with the studio’s signature storytelling and craftsmanship. Excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with logo, Ephraim Pottery, date, Chess Vase Collection mark, and artist ciphers for Leah Purisch, Becky Hansen, and Kevin Hicks. Vase is 6" tall and 5" wide. Retired in 2023.
