Oooh la la, this Kanawha crackle swung vase really stands out in a crowd.  With a pop of sought-after red, this is lovely addition to your growing colored glass collection (hint: it really livens up a boring bookshelf).  For those new around here, swung vases were popular in the mid-century, and refer to the special technique that glassblowers used to elongate the mouth of the vase - which is, to swing the vase when it is cooling. Ta da, swung vase.  The Amberina style, a highly collectible, sought after style, is two-toned, from Amber (at top) to red (most of the vase).  Next, it's also a crackle-style, which here makes the bottom look crackled or shattered. But trust us, it's still in one gloriously beautiful piece.
