Après Fondue Pot

We're going into a cold ass weekend here on the east coast, so of course our mind is on one place: hot cheese.  If we didn't already own two ourselves, we'd be getting good and gouda-y with this mustard yellow fondue pot from the 1960's. Made in Japan (as marked), the set is in incredible vintage condition.  The exterior enamel is free from scratches and the mod-brown floral pattern (anyone else think this is giving Jan Brady?) is lovingly maintained.  We love the cozy wooden handle and lid knob.  We're not sure this piece has ever been used - the interior has only the most minor of scratches and the original forks (4) are in still packaged up.  Whatever cold-weather activity you're enjoying this weekend - skiing, sledding, skating or watching Netflix with the temperature turned down - we're highly recommending warming up after with this easy recipe . All you need is a Sterno , found at any local Ace Hardware (my local grocery store has them too for $5).   Vintage 1960s Mustard Yellow
