Golden Hour Irish Decanter

It took quite a bit of digging to figure out the origin story of this beautiful, incredibly sparkly and well maintained decanter.  With an elusive etched signature on the bottom, we tracked this down to Carrick-on-Shannon, in Leitrim County, Northern Ireland.  Nestled in a cozy town, this husband and wife operation of Leitrim Crystal produces some of the finest, most sought after crystal that isn't from the mass-produced powerhouse of nearby Waterford.  And we love this; it's like discovering that no-frills, artfully crafted hole-in-the-wall winery amid the tour bus destinations.   It's almost impossible to find any of these pieces for sale, and their website is no longer in operation.  What we did discover is that Leitrim Crystal is known for its heft and impeccable quality and the master crystal glass cutter, Ken, is known for his raw talent and attention to detail.
