Creamy Grey-Blue Japanese Crock

Every once in a while, Amy brings home a dandie that even her husband admits he wants to keep. This one is that.  Produced in Japan by Otagiri, this original handmade vintage crock with lid has all the cozy,  mid century colors that are drip glazed over speckled stoneware. The base color is somewhere beteween a grey and robin's egg, depending on the light.  We love how it looks on a white countertop, and is perfectly sized contain a couple pounds of coffee beans.   Speckled crock with lid, made by Otagiri in 1960-70s (sticker on bottom) 5.5"H, 6"W This is a pre-loved dandie in very good used condition;  has no observed cracks and only the tiniest baby chip on underside of lid (see photos)
