Summerhouse Jar

We stumbled on this vintage glass jar, produced by Dansk in the 1970s, and is aptly called the "Summerhouse" jar.  There's something so delicate about this jar, like a sea breeze blowing in from the porch; the thin vintage glass catches all the colors and makes you wan to trap fireflies in it.   We love the sound the jar makes when you put the lid on it - a gently rattle that's like lemonade glasses clinking together.  At 5" (without lid) and 8" with lid, it's a nice size for sugar, coffee or tea, and looks beautiful on a vintage bar cart, or trusted in a guest bathroom, full of cotton balls.  Dansk Summerhouse Jar, 1970s Dimensions: 5" tall jar, 8" tall with lid This is a pre-loved dandie; in excellent condition, there's no chips or cracks present.
