13" Large Porcelain Capodimonte Lidded Dresser Box Toilette of Venus Poseidon Aphrodite

Vintage porcelain capodemonte dresser box with hinged lid. This lovely piece is hand decorated and could certainly be used as a jewelry box, a large trinket box or just a lovely to look at dresser box. This box is beautiful and quite large measuring 13" across x about 10" deep and about 5" high OD. Scenes include figures from Greek or Roman Mythology. Trimming out this porcelain box is a nice aged black brass trim and hinges. I have chosen not to polish these bit as the age adds character to the piece. No noted maker that I could find, but historically close variations of the mark on this piece are associated with antique companies in Italy. This is a more modern piece which could original from Italy or other surrounding countries.
