1889 B.W. Raymond Elgin Railroad 18S Pocket Watch B.W.C. Co Granger 14/8K Case

Antique circa 1889 B.W. Raymond railroad grade pocket watch size 18s works serial number 3459831 mounted in a 14K/8K rolled gold Granger B.W.C. Co Brooklyn Watch Case Company serial number 609595 featuring the Stag image. Watch works wind and run. Losing about 4 minutes in a 24 hour cycle. Works should be properly cleaned and serviced for best results. Fancy dial. Hands are in very good condition. Dial is in overall very good condition, no cracks but edge fleabites and one nick covered up by the ring. Crystal is a plastic replacement and will need to be reset. Works look clean. Watch case is a 14k 8K rolled gold watch case. Outer case consistently tests 14K around so little wear overall to the top layer of gold. Some wear at the hing area. The front cover does not spring open the inner spring mechanism will need to be adjusted to address the opening. Front cover opens a little wider than the expected 90 degrees.
