c1810 to 1830 Coin Silver Eyeglass Spectacles F. Hendry Reading Glasses with Case
c1810 to c1830 era reading? eye glasses with metal case. I wear a 1.5 to 1.75 and I believe these to be somewhere around a 2 to 2.5 range as I don't have to many issues using them as readers. Temples are adjustable and the frame is made of coin silver. Marked for F. Hendry on one temple and 40 and coin on the other temple. Temples size can range from about 4 1/4" to about 6 1/4 the hinge, width is about 4 1/2". No apparent screws - look to have pins holding everything together - see photos. Temples are loose, but hey, they are old. These are unpolished. Frames are in good condition. Glass is in good 2oo year old condition. I do not know if the metal slip case is original for these. Lid on the case is hard to slide open when you put it all the way down. Various dings in the metal case. Please do review all of the photographs as they are of the actual item you are buying. This item condition is overall good antique condition. This item will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail and
